Franchisee
Jim Furman's outstanding
record speaks for itself. His personal investment in his people
and restaurants has made him the successful operator of 76 thriving
stores in North and South Carolina.
His franchise was honored in 1990 with the Wendy Award and
in 1991 with the Founder's Award. He has also served on the Franchise
Advisory Council.
His stores are committed to serving quality food and creating
a positive work environment. He values his employees and encourages
them to treat others as they would like to be treated.
"Jim's standard for excellence is one of the reasons
Wendy's has such an outstanding reputation," says Senior
Vice President of Midwest Region Jack Whiting. The franchise's
sales and profits trends show they consistently exceed their customer's
expectations. And this year Furman's stores posted the highest
score ever for a franchise of its size on the Quality Assurance
Audit.
Furman is active in his community and serves on the board
of directors for Samaritan's Purse, a nonprofit missions organization.
He's spearheaded Wendy's participation in "Operation Christmas
Child" which assists children in developing nations. Furman
also serves on the board of Wingate College.
